I hated doing allignments in small shops.. the car would pull and they would just have me set the toe and go. It would still pull afterwards.. But the managers didn't care.
Doing allignments at 4 wheel parts was nice.. We did it right there.. Luckily all my vehicles have straight axles on them and I just set the toe with a tape measure.. Easy and cheap..
Also I do agree you never know what the previous owners did to your vehicles.. Though I'm not sure I would want to know.
I'm really not sure...(I have giggled but rarely like a schoolgirl... not sure how how or who added that to the thread here but I admit having found something amusing.) I re-read my last post and realize I got a little more ruffled than I probably needed to as well. So I will agree that collectively we more than answered the original poster's question quite well. A little discussion yields a lot of information even if the original question was just to find out where to get a good alignment.
