this is going to sound like a newb question, but where do i add and remove tranny fluid in a 1992 f150 w/ the i6 and 5 spd. i cant find a dip stick or anything. i dont have alot of experience with manual trannys and i dont have a manual. -thanks for any help in advance!
Manual trannies don't have dipsticks, they have a plug on the side of the tranny about half way up. You remove the plug and full till fluid runs out. And there's a drain plug if you want ot drain it.
what i do to find what fluids my vehicles take is go to amsoil.com and look up your vehicle. then it will say what fluids are recommended for different areas of your rig.
