Still problems turning.....????
Well Im still having the same old problem. Turning left in my truck is a bear. I can turn right with ease, and in the dirt turning is easy. Left is noticably more resistance, but definatly do-able. Once I hit hardroad though, its a different story.
I have a 77 F250, 79 steering box, 79 saginaw ps pump, crossover steering with a 91 Dana 60 front.
Ive checked my kingpins- they are good. Checked my steering wheel disconnected from the box, that is good. My power steering pump is not even a week old. It leaves me to believe its gotta be the box. But heres the catch, its a reconditioned box.
It is also my 2nd one. The first one was doing the same thing, but turning right was difficult also.
I thought that the 78-79 f250 boxes were supposed to be one of the best, Im not to impressed....
So.....anyone got any suggestions what I should do?
