Linkage question )))))))))))))))))))))))))))
I'm not an expert like most of you fella's here, but i got a 81' Ford f250, w/ 351 Cleveland, i use only to pull my boat.. I'm not a BIG truck expert. But when i can't pull my boat i get pissed and depressed.
The truck will not go into gear except reverse. I looked under the truck on the drivers side, and looked at the linkage that shifts the gears on the side of the transmission. Are there supposed to be 2 bolts holding that linkage to the transmission. I have only one..Is this the problem. Please help..
