Modulator Valves
My 1973 C6 has a Modulator valve with 2 ports on it. I know the back one hooks to a vacume line but were does the 2nd one hook? The second one is aroung the Mid section of the modulator. Thanks Art

Modulator Valves
The 73 C6, FMX and C4 trannies had a two port mod.valve because of the vacuum loss caused by the EGR valve. The small mod. port ran to the EGR hose which boosted the mod. vacuum a little bit. Ford tranny guys quickly found that the smaller hose could be removed and plugged with the port on the mod.valve left open and the trans shifted just fine. You can replace the two port with a normal single port mod.valve and only use the rear hose (manifold vacuum).
