Volunteered to pull a parade float!
Yeah....the title says it all!
My truck got volunteered to tow a float through downtown Cedar Rapids for the Houby Day Parade this June
I accepted and the folks at work are so excited. They are all in love with my truck and when the question was presented - who will haul the float - my name was the first that came up.
They are presently trying to get magnetic signs made for the sides of the truck because "your truck is big and beautiful and would make a perfect billboard for our company logo".
I thought this was pretty funny, and a good compliment to the truck. When this all happens in June I will be sure to post pictures of the festivities and the truck in action.

So have you talked to your boss yet about getting your truck detailed so it reflects the companies image in it's best light? Maybe that's one of those things you can bring up a couple of days before.

See we do cool things in Iowa. We have corn and well... parades. Lol. Glad to hear the rig is going to be in the "big show."
