So have you talked to your boss yet about getting your truck detailed so it reflects the companies image in it's best light? Maybe that's one of those things you can bring up a couple of days before.
Haha nah, but Randy mentioned "spit and shine" when I told him about pulling the float. The weekend before Randy and I will make sure she's ready for show.

Yeah..actually I've been thinkin about that. The parade "speed limit" is 2 mph. I don't know what 2 mph is, other than a slight crawl. I'll have old people and kids on my float, so, I need to be careful.

The Czech museum got destroyed in the flood. Actually, the majority of Czech village got completely pummeled because the old neighborhoods are right down next to the river (as they usually are). The company I worked for stored a lot of the Czech artifacts for quite a few months. Here is some more info on all of that if you are interested. New Page 1

Any advice? My biggest concern will be maintaining a constant speed, smooth and not jerkin the trailer around.

Yep, stick it in granny and let the clutch out. Give it a little touch on the go pedal when needed. Then just watch your mirrors. That's what I've always done in a parade.
Since you're missing that 3rd pedal, I'd say just watch the mirrors and don't run over anyone around the trailer, and watch the front and don't run into the float in front of you. You do have 2 eyes, right?
Thats Great Lisa. Ive been talking to some of our local city leaders and our Club might be pulling a few floats for the town birthday parade next year.
I guess nobody likes stuffed mushrooms, lol... It may or may not be a requirement but how about putting your lights and flashers for safety purposes, just a thought..

I can honestly tell you, I'm not a huge mushroom fan. I can tolerate them, sometimes. But I'd still love to have the recipe. Randy LOVES mushrooms so I can make them for him.
