Do you seriously get 21 mpg? Just asking. I don't have a 09 f150 and never intend to have one or any vehicle that new.
Oh and its prety obvious that torantinian dosen't have one why oh why would he have even bought one if he didn't like the ride.

I picked up this truck one month ago . It's 4.6 V3 engene Super cab XLT-XTR model. All ok in the truck exept one major problem---- It drives like sh..t!!! The pedal vibrates, sounds from the engen is horrable. At the Ford sarvice nobody cares. I gueess I may officialy congratulate Ford on making me angry with my purchse. Next time I 'd rother try Toyota or GM. If you still planning to by one------ my advise don't!!! This is the worst driving truck ever!

Let's try to reign in the wolf pack here...... it is possible that he really does have one of the biggest lemons rolled out of Ford in 2009. Let us not forget that MOST folks find this site, because of a problem. Cut him some slack, till he proves otherwise. Thanks

i get 21.5 mpg in mine, 5.4, i'm very surprised by the mpg, i would have expect 15 or so. mine goes up and down with my driving habits, if i'm heavy on the gas it will drop down to around 20.2 driving 65mph. if i take it easy around 55mph i get 21 or better. i'm happy, rides great, quiet, ( well not now magnaflow exhaust) smooth shifting.
Thats pretty cool the thing that surprises me most about it isn't that a truck with a v-8 gasser is getting that I've seen a 76 f150 custom with a 460 get 17mpg and my big old truck gets 20-21 if I drive real nice and am running california diesel the stuff here is junk. By real nice I mean 55 in a 65 and 65 in a 75. But what surprises me is they are getting that with all this emissions stuff on them, I guess somebody has finally figued it out.
