oil pressure sending unit
i have a 79 f-250 with the 460 engine and automatic transmission. i think the sending unit for the oil pressure has gone bad. I bought a replacement today. I can not find it on the engine. May i ask where is the location of it?
thank you for your time.. I hope you can help

It's at the back of the engine.

I found it buried in the back. My question, are they difficult to replace?

Don't complicate things.

Just unscrew it and replace it.

Should have one wire conneted to it, clean the area around it. Unhook the wire, should be a factory press on style connector. Make sure your new one has a o-ring, thread in the new one. Connect wire, open beer and your done.

You know now it the time to slice in a t-fitting and put an aftermarket psi gauge in,IMO
