Ok, I think I cleaned up the way the "Connecticut Chapter" looks, but as I was exporting it to a jpg to upload here I noticed that the lettering was off center, so its going to take me a few extra minutes to fix it up. Hold please...
I got pricing on window stickers that go on the outside.
One size 7"X6" (roughly) $4.50 and one 12"X10" (roughly) $8.50 each.
They can split the order as far as colors go. ( I like the silver on tinted windows )
They just need the OK from Ford which I am working on getting the info from Steve to contact them.
He did it for the NJ chapter and said it was not a problem.
While I am making modifications again, should the "Connecticut Chapter" text be larger and stretch all the way from the left to the right, or does it look ok the way it is now set the same size as the "Ford Trucks" text?
I will adjust this to fit the sizes that Andy just posted up.
I also think that the way the text is defaulting with a gradient type fill probably won't transfer to a sticker well since we are looking to do a solid color (whether it be white, chrome, or something else. Of course it looses some of its glamour if I make everything solid. I'm going to have to find some middle ground here.
Ok, I checked the size of the one that I have been working on and it works out to 6.9 x 5.55 so I'm going to say close enough for government work. I still need some thoughts on the other questions I have above (post 95) before delving into a 12x10 size.
Good to hear about the sizing, I won't worry about a larger one for now then. Does this company have a minimum order requirement? Also, are they up front about the quality of the proof being supplied to them (I.E. If its gonna look like crap on a sticker will they tell you before they take your money?
On a related note, I found something labeled as an actual Ford font versus the one that I had found which was simply close. I am reworking it with the new font and will post up a new version momentarily.
This is going to be my last alteration for the night. You all have until tomorrow afternoon to fill this thread up with comments, suggestions, etc for changes you would like to see.

Looks nice Greg.
With regard to the quote, I wonder about the extent to which the sticker place does their own graphic artistry?
That is, we give them the layout (your handiwork) and the source of the Ford-font you found, and with those two they craft a 'clean' image to print for us.
And then the issue of the 'gradient type fill' in your original becomes a non-issue.
No minimum.
I got my diesel fuel only sticker from them and I only got one.
When i got the price I told him about 20 smaller and 10 larger.
I can call him tomorrow to see if we send him something if he can clean it up and send us a prof.
But I don't think he will do any thing with out a letter from Ford.
Steve I think will get the info to me soon so we can send it to Ford to try and get approval.
