Gauge Dimmer

Just ordered the Issipro EV gauges a couple of days ago and forgot to order the dimmer. I've heard that the gauges can be a little on the bright side without the dimmer. I ordered them from Diesel Manor but cant seem to get through to them. I searched they're web page extensively without success. Anybody know where I can pickup a dimmer that will work with these gauges.

My Isspro gauges use the dimmer from my truck to dim them. I just followed the instruction they gave me for this.

My Isspro's aren't any brighter than the factory gauges and dim with the factory gauges. There are some steps in the instructions to color on the bulbs with a black Sharpie to decrease the brightness... worked great for me.

I ordered the dimmer with mine and never used it. They are hooked into the dash dimmer but do not dim down as quick as the dash lights so that really does not work for minor dimming. Honestly, after the first couple times driving I really never was bothered by the light level. They "seem" extra bright because you are not used to them being right there in front of your face.

I got the pre-made harness w/ dimmers for my Dipricols and it was a waste of money. Not only did I have plenty of wire to build my own harness, the dimmers were not necessary. They are wired into the factory dimmer and to get the gauges to the same brightness as the dash, the harness dimmer is on the brightest setting. I say save the money ($60ish in my case) and build your own harness w/o dimmers and you'll be fine.
