My Ranger lost a nut...
Morning people!
My 4.0L used to have nuts, but recently seems to be missing one.
Power issue!
Example 1; On the hgwy, go to pass, hit the passing gears, truck doesnt pick up and go but rather lags, rpms soar pass 4k yet increase in speed doesnt happen. It's like I've lost a nut!
Example 2; I have been able to power brake and smoke the tires,yet that has not happened in a bit.
I do not have any codes but I know I need to R/R my O2 sensors because the engine has been running a bit lean, but, would that be the sole cause of my power loss?
Recent oil change, plugs (autolite dbl plats)and wires, air filter, new serp and belt tensioner and a recent cleaning of the MAF sensor.
I am at a bit of a loss
, any input would be appreciated.
