What diff to go with
hi, i have a 1990 f-150 with a 3:08 limited slip diff. I don't know alot about rear ends, so i want to know what kind i could swap in to inprove my traction on the 1/4 mile launch pad. I know my tires are to hard to so that doesnt help, but i sit and spin for at least 2 seconds. I just bought lakewood traction bars so this may help, but i still wanna posi- type unit. what should i look for?

Well you have a posi unit in your truck. Posi is a term coined by chevys long ago and is the same as limeted slip. Depending on how old your truck is your clutch packs may be worn out. You could check those and replace them, there is also a different way to pack the new clutch packs so that you have a tighter differential. It will affect your longevity though. You could also swap out to something like a auburn limited slip to replace your stock one.
