Went for a Test Drive
So I pulled up to my local Tipton Ford Dealer and soon enough a sales guy spotted me.
I was in my 02 FX4 F150 Super Cab FlareSide, that me and my dad take turns driving.
Me and the guy started chit chatting and I told him I was interested in a Single Cab FlareSide 4x4 with a 5.4L. So he told me they didnt have any on the lot and asked why a young man like my self would want a Single Cab?
He showed me to a Super Cab FX4 FlareSide, Black with gray two tone, I like the FlareSide models because they dont have the stupid chrome lights.
It was fully loaded from the floor mats to the sun roof, it had sync and everything!
Turned the truck on and OMG The truck had a nice exhaust note STOCK!!
Went for a test drive, gunned it, stopped it really fast and I can feel alot of improvements. The Ride was so smooth I COULDNT EVEN FEEL THE TRUCK SHIFT!
All in all I think im gunna be a 2009 F150 FX4 Supercab FlareSide owner soon, with 6k cash back and 350 a month damn I cant wait!

I wish I could same the same on my FX4 that has 1300 miles on it. It has a very rough shift from 1st to 2nd on every start up. Smooths out as you drive it but, doesn't feel good. Some say it will go away.

as a former owner of a 05 F150, I noticed my 09 F150 had a louder sounding exhaust
the people at the dealer told me I was crazy, they sound the same, but NO, I can tell the difference!

I guess Ill have to wait until summer to get the truck hopefully shes still there
