keyless entry door pad...

heres a question for you.....so i swapped my chrome pull door handles out for painted door handles this winter, and now i've got the stock set of chrome center pull handles laying around...my parents have an 05 xlt that i could put these in, and since they dont' have the keyless entry it seems like a good idea....

Are the trucks prewired to put the handle with the keyless entry pad in and will it just plug and play???

If not...what else do i have to do to make it work....

If they have power door locks they most likely have the wiring for the keypad. You will have to locate the control module and get the 5 digit code off of it.

so plug it in...get the code off from behind the rear seat...and walla it works?

That's all it took for mine to work.
My truck didn't come with a key pad.But, I installed Mark LT door handles with the key pad.I plugged the keypad in and it worked.
