I made a post earlier about a tick up top and ended up replacing a failed injector and getting one serviced. And for the last month the truck has ran like a champ. Until last night anyways, I was driving to work as normal the truck sounded fine when i started her and drove her through town. I was cruisin at highway speeds and I heard a loud hum start. Well I was close to work so i kept going. But as I dropped speeds the hum became and audible loud poof almost. At idle it sounds like a single cylinder air compressor running slowly and there is combustion chamber air getting pushed out of my intake. All I can think is that something happened like a burned intake valve or something it just does not make sense to me that it happened suddenly at highway cruising speeds. Any thoughts?
Much appreciated
