Electrical question

i just recently installed a dvd/cd flip out deck in my truck and after i installed it the radio takes about 15 seconds to turn on after i turn the key on, as well as the windows wont roll down or anything until about 15 seconds later. wondering how i can fix this maybe its just a fuse?! i already replaced the f31 fuse because it popped when i was installing the stereo. just wondering if anyone has heard of this problem before?!?

did you disconnect the battery before you started your work?
possible that you connected to wrong wire

I think jsoko is on the right track. If it's a blown fuse it would never work. You've got everything wired to something that has a 15 second delay. Like when the interior lights go out?

I'm 100% sure it's wired right because I even put the stock deck back In Thinking the aftermarket deck I bought was faulty but it still did the same thing with it all plugged back into the stock stereo. All
This happened after I popped the 20 amp f31 fuse and replaced it...don't know what it can be?!

disconnect power to radio,run a wire to the + side of battery, ground radio, use this temp. wire to see if you have the problem now, one way to trouble shoot it. (careful with that hot wire )

I figured out what the problem was, fuse #1 was blown and apparently it runs the acc.(radio, wipers, windows, etc.) For the first 15 seconds then switches over to fuse #31 for continuing power. Thanks for all your help guys.
