2008 limited heated seat ??

It's been some time but I haven't seen a good resolution to this...when I turn on the heat or AC to the drivers seat the light stays on in the dash for about 15 seconds then turns off. The passenger seat works great. I have reset the DCSM by pulling the #8 fuse still have the same issue, I've check continuity at the fuse and shows good. I've read it could be the module itself I was wondering if anybody removed it and had to have it reprogramed by the dealer or was it plug and play?

I just had my '11 KR in the shop for the front passenger heated seat. Press the button and the light would stay on for about 30 seconds then go off. Try to press it again and it would just flash. The shop diagnosed the problem was the heating pad under the seat. The cooling function worked fine.

My heated seat works fine on warm days, but on cold days it shuts off after 15-30 seconds.

If I let the cabin warm up to a toasty temp, about the time you'd turn the heated seat off, then the seat will work.

Neat, eh?
