My New Lariat

After waiting for what seemed like an eternity my truck got here Thursday night and I picked it up on Friday. All I can say is WOW!!! I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!! I knew from my test drive that I would love it but getting to drive it every day is better than I could have imagined. Every time I get in it or think about it I can't help but smile. The cooled seat are amazing living here in Florida.

I have some pictures in my photo gallery and should be adding some more in the next couple of days.

Nice ride! My FX4 is a week old tomorrow, so I know what you mean about loving the new truck! I am still driving around with the perma-smile on my face as I am sure you are too!

I am not a big fan of the center console, but Im thinking the cooled seats might be worth it. What do you think? are the seats really more comfortable when cooled? Enough for someone who doesnt like the center console to settle?

I have traditionally been a big fan of the bench seat .... but I have the sport leather trimmed captains chairs in my FX4 supercrew ... and I am getting hooked on having the storage capacity of the center console. I am not the type to need heated or cooled seats, so that wouldnt' have made up my mind. But looking back, I think I can count on two fingers the number of times I've actually had three passengers in the front seat of one of my trucks. Now, my dog isn't too happy about not being able to stretch out across the front seat, but she sure likes have the entire flat floor are with the back seats folded up!

The cooled seats are great for when I get out of work and the seats are hot, or if I am driving a long distance. I have also been using them when I am driving with the windows down, they work with the AC off but not quite as well at least I don't think so. They do get really cold on high, I would have gotten the captains chairs even if they were not cooled though because I like the storage. I would say go to a dealer that has a lariat or up with captains chairs and take it for a drive.
