I got a free Holley carb on Friday. I was cleaning it up just now and found a serial number tag: D9TE AEA 9C5 Can anyone help me out? Just trying to ID it.
I was told by the person who gave me the carb that it'd work on any Ford 360 or 390. (my '76 has a 390, thats why he gave it to me)
He used to have a '79 pickup. I think he had a 360 in it.
Welllllll, it's been sitting in a barn since 1999. I know the original owners son took it off to put a bigger carb on, he used to race his truck from time to time.
I was told "Your truck has a 390, right? well this'll work on it, it's yours since i won't be needing it and you never know when you'll need an extra carb"
I don't really need it because my carb was taken off and cleaned up and rebuilt a few years ago by my dad.
I don't really know much about carbs- let me just say it's realllllly dirty. I could take a few pictures of it and email them to ya. What's your email?
edit: If I had to guess: I'd say it's in "beat" or "tired" conditon. But you'll have to tell me by pictures. haha
