i have mine tucked up in the bed but my tires spray dirt in them all the time, sounds like nows the time to get some pantyhose. where do you have enough room to mount the trumpets facing down without them being visible?
If these are the Kleinn Horns, there should be about 8 #2 philips screws. Remove those screws and then clean everything out. Even unscrew the trumpets and clean those. Had the same issue awhile ago. Had mud caked up inside. Now using a set of the wifes old nylons as a screen to keep the mud out. So far so good.
They are Maximus Horns (level III) from Train Horns For Sale. Suppose to be sunny in the morning I am going to try them again... I also e-mailed the place I got them for there Input.
On a side not since I Cross dress I can use a pair of my own panty hose...

Well I got them dries out and back on and they sound even worse than when I took them off. I wonder if the valves in the trumpes have gone bad.. Hopefully I can get them replaced..
I have my horns facing out back that way it helps keep the water out. They are way to big to point down they would hang to far down the place I have them is the only place I can mount them (with out removing the spare and putting them there)that you can not see them.
And you can see they barely fit there without showing.
