Ok fella's, I took some pics of the mounts - are these truck ones, and if so is there a difference between them depending on their application (i.e I6, V6, V8 etc?)

Well you can definately rule out I6 mounts.

Those are definatly for the V8 perches. Could be for a 302 or 351W but looks like someone altered them. The could also be car engine mounts and someone had to make them bigger to work in the truck

Pics don't show...

I have tried looking for mount pics but without luck - suppliers on ebay just show the same pic of a mount and not knowing the differences I just don't know what I am looking at.

Those mounts appear to be from a car, and while they prolly are not...they could be I-6 mounts from a 1965/72 Galaxie/LTD.

The standard engine in these cars was the 240 I-6.

Thanks for yet more help

As a matter of curiosity, and before I cut the frame up - while the perches and mounts are different, are all crossmembers the same on '80 - '86 F100/F150's?
