92 f350 electrical problems
I just picked up a 92 f350 460/e4od and am having some electrical issues that have me stumped. First, no check engine light- I've checked the all the wiring, the relays, fuses, even pulled the cluster out to make sure the bulb was good. Second, no overdrive circut- the wires coming out of the shifter were damaged, I repaired them and still no improvement. The o/d off light wont come on and the truck wont shift into overdrive. Third, no cruise control- just figured that out, haven't started to check it yet. Finally, my power locks will not work- all of the wiring appears to be good, fuses etc........ I'm leaning towards a bad computer, but would love any suggestions. Thanks for any help.

power locks not in the computer, I'm thinking bad fuseable link or 2. you may also want to take your seral # to ford there was a recall on ignition switch,and cruse control. both went bad, and could cause a fire. the recall may not have been preformed. even though it's un related, I think there was also a recall on a check valve for the fuel pumps too,
