Fiberglass repair the back side Andrew. Then paint away. If the front side is banged up a bit then use some plastic body filler (bondo) on it before painting.

Good point, Jay. IIRC, Andrew's grill is missing a chunk as well as cracked.

Andrew, just another reason for a PAA meeting!

I think the white will look great. I kinda whish I had a white truck since they look tough with a white drill, white mirrors with chrome covers, and the white 05+ front bumper. That looks tough. Especially on a 4x4 dually!

To the OP, I actually like that grill. It almost looks like it was "cast" and then the chrome parts have been polished. It looks good.

I painted my grill insides black and like it. Next move I think is to color match it. I have seen it done with my color truck and it looks awesome.

I like it! Kinda makes me want to go put my chrome one on!

Ive never taken it off...is it hard?! Will I need to take my grille guard off or will it slip straight up?!

4 phillips scews on top, then 4 snap in clips in the bottom. You should be able to leave your grill guard in place.

Tenn. Mike told me how to do it too, just like Chris said above. Mike told me to be careful with the bottom clips, one or two can be a bugger..

Its tight, use a extra long flat head screwdriver, right between the bumper and grill, you should be able to see them. The tabs lift up at the bottom if you know what I mean. I hope this doesn't turn out like the T-Stat thread, lol.. I'll quit now, haha...
