March 21, 2009 new 09 FX4 with 3.73 locker, 36 gal tank, towing controler.
Nobody at the Dealership can mate my cell phone to the SYNC system, they said I need a wire connection that should have been supplied with the phone. Reading the directions, I think it can be done without any type of wire connection, I tried and couldn't do it.
Could somebody explain to me in a simple way to do it?
Also: Did I get a good price on my new truck? 09 FX4 3.73 locker, 36 gallon gas tank, sticker price $36,330, traded in my 05 F150 FX4 with 22K miles, got $14,000 trade in price, added spray on bedliner, and 6 year ESP that added $1200, and my pay off for my old truck added on was $4600,
Total OTD Price for new 2009 F150 $18,440

$18 for a brand new FX4 is an unreal price IMO.... thats XL territory best I know.

 

My phone was connected without wires. The dealership did it for me and it took about 2 minutes. It may depend on the phone though, I have not read the instructions.

Same here; the sales guy did mine in about 2 minutes. My understanding is that your cell must have bluetooth capability.

You prolly need to turn the bluetooth ON, on Your phone.

Jsut go to tools/setup. Turn the Bluetooth ON. Then choose search, while in Your truck with the ignition on.

It should find Your SYNC.

I must have missed that part. If that's how it worked out it's a great deal.

 

Got my phone to work, it took 3 tries, but when I turn the truck off and get back in with the phone, turn the bluetooth on, it has to go over the same process searching for the phone again

 

Just leave your bluetooth on and it will automatically reconnect everytime you get in the truck

 

Looking at those numbers I am not thinking the dealer gave him another 10K off but if he did that is a smokin deal just can't pic. it though

 

i got another $4000 off for a personal reason that I can't tell anybody, but I kinda think some of you guys can figure out why I got $4K off the price
