nope not this years demo car for the county fair { although that did cross my mind } . it's a free come get it , it's yours 88 crown vic with a injected 302 and aod . the motor and trans are history , don't , didn't need 'em , but there are so many things it is donating to the 53 . the front seats , some wiring for some things , including lots of male female plugs , weatherpack connectors , etc. , and the front discs possibly , as well as the proportioning valve , and the diff. yeah i got a 9 inch but it needs tons 'o' work . the diff in this has really low numerically gears from what i could find out , and outside of it being coils it is the exact same width as the dana in the 53 , so a set of spring perches and were in business .it is / was a loaded car option wise so theres lots of little gizmo's for freinds and my cuz bill with his darkside 53 to drool over and pinch . the dain steering box and linkage look from preliminary measurements , like a dain close drop in with a little work , for our trucks , and the front suspension is / would be so easy to cut out and weld into the frame of our effies .... i have been eyeing it ... but im staying true to my straight axle , but bill on the other hand well .... might be able to use the fuel tank , i mean it just keeps producing lots of little things . not to mention a whole crap load of speed nuts and other fasteners that might be oh so useful . automatic lighting , the heater / controls .... well gotta go now and squeeze a few more minutes of precious time out . i have to get it cleared out as i have a frame to fetch , and a 53 to try getting busy on again . later !
