Sway bar help
I am changing the bushings and I need someone to send me a picture of the passenger side where the sway bar mounts to the axle. The guy who owned the truck before me did some creative welding because he must have hit the bracket. It was bent when I took it off and it looks like the guy welded his own mount. I just need to know what it is supposed to look like so I can weld a new "strait" bracket.

Thanks. this will help a lot. who ever welded mine before was way off. Good thing I have FTE to help fix others mistakes. My sway bar is different from yours though? I was looking at your other pics and mine does not bend around the pumpkin. it just goes strait under it. any comments? I think I can figure it out.

Your profile says your truck is a '99. That's probably the difference, I think the earlier sway bars were different.
Not sure when they changed styles, maybe when they changed from Dana 50 to Dana 60? Hopefully someone will chime in with better info....

Does anyone have pictures of the 99 sway bar connections?
Does anyone have pictures of the 99 sway bar connections? My truck didn't have a front sway bar at all and I found a used one here as well as all of the brackets. The brackets don't make any sense. Even the one that looks like it should just line up is not lining up.
Any suggestions/pictures are appreciated.
