78 F100 Sway Bar Brackets
Hello,
I found a 77 at the junkyard that had the factory sway bars. I took the front and the rear. The rear will bolt up just fine and i was able to get all the brackets for it.
The front is the one that i am having trouble with. I see the 4 holes on the frame to attach up front. The end links are what i do not know how to attach.
They sat the truck at the junkyard on the ibeam bolt so i was unable to get the front bracket. I know i will more thank likely have to get my own since that bracket may be hard to find.
I wanted to know if you guys have any suggestions or ideas on how to attach the end links or how yall have attached them now. I have some sketches i have been working on.
One easy way is to just weld an "L" shaped tab to the i beam to attach the end link. But can i weld on the ibeam?
Any information is appreaciated. Thank y'all in advance

I advise against welding it. That's alot of stress...... Addco's design uses a through-bolt on each I-beam to attach a section of thick angled steel.
Gotta watch the clearances.
Btw, 80s Econolines use the same OEM brackets so broaden your horizons. The factory set up is much cleaner... more work but very sanitary.
