So I'm riding home, enjoying the AMAZING weather. Windows down, bump'n the sound system to "Party like a rockstar." I look over and beside me is a Dodge... Hemi... Dodge... Hemi... HEMI... YES HEMI... with 3" stacks in the bed. I couldn't help my mouth. I turned the music down, laughed REALLY REALLY REALLY loud. Loud enough for him to look at him. Started hitting my wheel, laughing uncontrolablly like I was having seizures. Then I decided to give it a little gas and smoke and take off like a bat from hell.
Short answer. He probably has bad credit and couldn't afford the price of a diesel, let alone the maintenance costs. Who in their right mind puts 3" stacks on a GASSER?!
Guy down the road from me has a 04 or so Chevy 1500... Lifted probably about 8-10 inches. He's got dual 6" stacks lol. Then he's got an older rust bucket Chevy gasser with stacks. And he use to have a Ram gasser with stacks.
I guess stacks are cool.... I'm one of those weirdos that thinks a 30 thousand dollar tuck dosent need large holes in the bed.... There are guys around here with older z71 truck with stacks.... On a diesel it is I guess more expected but on a gasser that is past that point.... I do think stacks thru the hood would be a lot cooler though gas or diesel....jus not on my truck

I WOULD TOTALLY love to do stacks through my hood. If I had a dedicated diesel racing truck I would do that
I'm pretty sure I got you beat. Not long ago, I saw a Nissan Frontier with stacks! Even better - he also had duals with chrome tips behind the rear wheels. WTF!

I may have you beat. I was at Wendy's in the hood one day and a late 90s Ram 1500 reg cab long bed with Crown Royal logos all over it had 6 exhaust tips. 2 out the back. 2 out the sides. and 2 out the rear corners.
