Oil Filter/ Fuel question
Howdy! I recently bought a 2007 6.0,Got a question or two that I could find in my searches. Anyone have a recomendation of the best source (online or otherwise) for buying oil filters? Also my book states that I shouldn't run more then 5% bio fuel, can anyone explain why I can't run B100? Thanks

From what I understand B100 is a big no-no on the 6.0's. 6.0 Powerstroke - Topic Powered by Eve For Enterprise

Welcome to FTE! Go here (https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum168/) and ask your question about the bio. I know guys are running B100 without issues. I believe the reason that your manual states B5 only is because there were no fuel quality standards for Bio when it first started hitting the market. Any blend over 5% was susceptible to poor fuel quality, etc, depending on the source of the fuel. I'm no expert, though, so go ask the guys in the Bio forum link I gave you.
For filters, you can get them a bunch of places online, like:

Diesel Filters,Additives,brake rotors, and brake pads for Chevy, Dodge and Ford Diesel Trucks
A lot of people just go to their local International dealer for filters as they tend to be cheaper there.
