Ok so I checked it again this morning on the way to work. I can only see 4 shifts. I got up to 65mph . Does it have to be at full operating temp or something? How much RPM drop should I see for the TC LU
i get about 3-400 rpm drop on tc lockup. did the tranny get warmed up? how far a drive. I suppose if you don't get up operating temp it may not lock up.

Thats Ford not using all the gears in their shift strategies. There is also a RPM drop before shift scalar thats normally set to 400-600 in factory form.

Talk to me about your tuners... How many tunes do I get in one tuner.....??
fordmdb: I am not sure exactly how the lockup works, but im pretty sure I have felt mine lockup in 2nd gear. I was going about 45-55 in second gear and i heard lockup and saw the RPM's drop about 300 right as i floored it. If i don't floor it and just steadily increase throttle there is no indication of lockup. I have heard oversized tires have some affect on it and I am running 35's with 3.73 gearing.

Your correct on 4R100 trans depending on throttle postion and Mph, 2nd gear can lock. The OP has the 5R110 Torqshift trans. Both have different lock strategies.
