Posting again about keyless entry

I had posted an issue here a month or more ago. I bought a new keyless keychain remote, ran through the programming setup, everything was going fine meaning the doorlocks cycled but when I pushed one of the buttons on the remote to program it, it still doesn't work. Maybe the receiver is bad?

This is a Ford system, and it was a Ford remote you bought? I don't know much about the alarm and remote systems.

Ford

Yes, its a genuine Ford Factory keyless entry system, there's no alarm just the keyless entry system.

Did you get the new key fob from Ford? Do you have any friends with Fords that could test their key fobs and see if they will open your truck? Or possibly the Ford dealer would have one that you could test with?

fobs

I have the original remote plus the new one I bought, the old one worked fine until after AAA tried to unlock my doors with no success, maybe they screwed something up? it's a mistery
