I've now seen your 40's something truck and that buggy.
Awesome builds! And I have to admit I laughed my *** off on that video of your buggy. Got a bit of air and came down and broke both tie rods and flattened your flat tires. Just the way it looked, 9 seconds into the video and your front end is on the ground.
Great job on the buggy, and the truck though.
Speaking of which, what do you do for a living Skipped Link? I think I might have asked in the other thread about your truck but I don't remember.
Yeah that first event was a dandy, found a few bugs to work out, the funny thing is I've jumped it harder than that before with no damage, Oh well part of the fun is working the bugs out,
I was a little dissapointed at first, but we got it back togeather in time to compete in the last 2 events,
As for my work, I am a small vehicles fleet mechanic at a gold mine, So yeah, I get to work on ford pickups all day & get paid for it,
That's friggin sweet...I'm inspired to go build something, but alas, I haven't much skills.....
Don't let that slow you down, Every project I've ever had, when complete, I knew the next one would be better,
skills = practice,
So go build something, so the next one can be better,

That's right. You don't have to "shoot the moon" on your first project. Start off with something that you can finish, and get it done. Go from there.
Its not so much my skillz that suck. Its my pockets that are shallow. Haha.
I absolutely love your buggy and your truck!
Yeah I jumped my Jeep Cj7 just how your buggy jumped in the video. Except I didn't break the tie rods, I just sheared the body halfway from the back on both sides and snapped my frame. What doesn't kill it makes it stronger..
Except for the melted engine.. that was bad... but when those new parts arrive! That sucker will be stronger haha.
