95f150 alternator wiring schematic
i am trying to put the serpentine system from my 95 f150 onto my 65 mustang and have done everything except for getting the modern alternator to charge the battery. i am hoping someone can email or tell me where to find the schematic for the 3 wire harness that comes out of the alternator. i have the primary wire from the output of the alt direct to the battery and the yellow wire from the 3 wire harness is going to the hot post on the starter relay. the green wire is not hooked up and the 3rd wire is going to the spade terminal on the alternator. the alternator does not charge. it is a brnd new alt and has been tested. any help would be greatly appreciated. you can email me directly at mmmoparjep@aol.com. thanks

You got everything right so far. Now you need to connect the Green wire, so it turns on the alternator. It needs to be powered by a Hot In Run/Start power wire. On the truck, it comes from the dash cluster, throught the ALT light with a 510 ohm resistor run parallel with the light.
