Heater core??

I am looking for a new heater core for my 64 f100. I have went to all local parts stores and no luck. I was told I would most likely run into this problem. They can get a core for a 66-72, is this the same or not? Does anybody know of a website or somewhere I could get one? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

theres 2 places that have one NOS...genuine FoMoCo piece...

its part number is C2TZ18476A

Its application is 1964 F100/250 , 1965-9 N1000 or 1965-9 NT 850/950(NH diesel)

The places are Don Sanderson Ford in Az, 623-842-8762

Antique Auto Supply in Tx, 817-275-2381

They each have one...another thing to try is to call a local place and ask using the N or NT truck series application info. It seems to me most parts places go back to 1966...I have that problem hunting for stuff for my 65...

blue, I would recommend that you get a plastic hose coupling or a 3" piece of copper water pipe, that is about 5/8" OD, pull your heater hose off the core, place the coupling in the two ends and clamp it to make a loop. Pull the heater core and take it with you to the parts house and get it matched up. With the loop in the heater lines you can drive the truck while you shop if you need to without worry about harming anything. You wont have heat in the cab, but you can use the truck.

Sometimes it is easier to try that method than argue with counter peeps.

What parts catalog are you getting these applications from?
C2TZ18476A .. Heater Core / Use with Fresh Air or Recirculating Heater / Obsolete

Fits: 1961/64 F100/1100 / 1961/64 N/NT/T500/1000 / 1965/69 N1000 / 1965/69 NT850/950 NH Diesel.

Personally...I'd do what John recommended, take the old core to NAPA or a good indie autoparts store and match the puppy up.
