Well after 3 years and 98k miles, finally had my FIRST small issue with the 6.0. Getting on the freeway after work today, I noticed the truck loose power and heard a loud hissing air leak under heavy acceleration. Noticed any boost over 15lbs caused this, so I drove moderately and everything was fine. Got home and within 5 minutes of searching, I found a 1/2" crack in the intercooler intake hose directly under the air cleaner assembly. I plan on ordering a new hose tomorrow and was wondering if I should replace with OEM or is there an aftermarket that's better?
Also I was gonna clean with brake clean and try JB Weld as a temp fix so I can use the truck for work till I get the replacement.

Damn junk 6.0s, nothing but trouble
I don't know about JB Weld on a hose, how about a couple of wraps of the handyman's secret weapon?
Yea, I would use duct tape, BUT the hose is a heavy contour of v's where it's leaking. The crack is in the valley of one of the v's, that's why I thought JB might work for a 1-2 day temp fix.
