Yes, the email still exists but yahoo is the company that now manages it. If you move to a different provider you will most likely loose your email though. That's why getting an email address with a non ISP company like google is nice because you can keep the address regardless of who you choose to give your ISP dollars to.

I have NO ISP... other than my cell phone company.
I'm rooted and don't have a tethering contract either.
10G a month, they don't say anything.
Have not paid a penny to ATT, Yahoo, SBC, Optimum in quite a while.
(like, 2009!)
Still get spam in my SBC box every day.
I also have a few Gmail addresses, Yahoo, SBC, heck probably a Hotmail or two and an AOL addy if I could remember the usernames and passwords.
My Optimum address has been closed since I stopped paying.

I've spent the past few weeks up at my brothers while he was in Florida.
Kinda liking the country life!
I would probably want to be closer to the shore though.
Going to take another drive through there Sunday and see what I can find.
