2 questions

i asked one of them in another forum but you guys might have some more valuable info since it is a 4x4 forum

im doin a SAS on my 95 f150 with a 75 d44 axle im settin up with discs the only thing i need to know is ive heard i need to lift at least 4" to clear the engine crossmember

if i go 4" i dont have to extend anything i should be able to use the stock TTb rad arm brackets in their stock loction and it should clear the 36x12.5s but if i go 6" i have to lengthen the driveshaft and the rad arms or get drop brackets right?

and im swappin my 8.8 rear end to a 9" and was wondering what to do with the VSS since the 8.8 has it and the 9" doesnt?

thank you for your help guys

Don't know about the suspension, seems to me it should fit at stock height but whatever.

But about the VSS, check your other thread, or I guess here works to;

yup got it on the other thread thanks there opossum

either way heres what i was thinking up front

-custom trac bar and bracket built to match the drag link angle
-tie rod and knuckles from a 78
-drag link from a 95 f350?
-4" drop pitman
-4" lift springs
-stock TTB upper spring buckets/shock mounts in stock location
-stock TTB rad arm brackets in stock location
-stock d44 rad arms
-stock front driveshaft
-4 new shocks

anyone see any flaws with this?

Most of the guys on fullsizebronco.com use 70s coil buckets, radius arms, and coils.

I am not entirely sure what you are asking about the 78 spindles. All disc solid axle trucks with a 5 lug should work (76-79)

i got a 75 d44 had drums i put 78 knuckles on it but i was wondering if the spindles/hub/rotors/calpiers from the TTB would fit onto the 78 knuckle but i grabbed the old spindle from a ttb and its way too small so thats that

im using the 75s rad arms turns out they are WAY longer then the TTBs so the rad arm brackets need to be moved back roughly 6 inches so the ttb rad arm brackets wont work

i just bought 78 d44 4" BDS suspension lift springs for the front and they will fit the buckets so i wont have to mess around with the lower mounts or the buckets

still gotta figure that trac arm out...
