Won't charge??

since you have the alt light when you turn the key on it sends power from the switch to through the alt light/resistor to the green wire with red stripe that turns the alt. on, if the light burns out you would not be able to turn the alt on so thats why they put the resistor in this is how I always thought its suppost to workI have a old factory book that says its 510 ohms

Well the shunt didn't work by itself so now I will add the light and I will make it look factory but will switch and take out the "fasten seat belts" for the "alt". Crossing my fingers...

Ah it finally works and charging..... Learned a thing or two on this one. By the way does anyone have a gas gauge for sale??
