Regen Problem

Regen Problem
I bought my 08 new in Oct of 07. F250 6.4 I've hade problems with the regen from the start. It would come on and stay on forever. Took it to the dealership 3 or 4 times told nothing was wrong and not to turn truck off until it finished. Went sat in yard for over an hour still it did not finish.
tail pipe is black. Around 20 or 25,000 miles I had the Edge with Attitude installed for the turbo cool down as I pull a 10,000 lb 5th wheel camper.
After install the regen seemed to improve would come on for 6 to 8 min and then go back to regular mode. Everything was going great until I had to take the truck in for a recall. Thats when they did update to the computer. now the check engine light kees coming on and regen does not work. I did set system back to stock before going in. Now dealership saids that because I have a prigramer on truck and changed the air system Ford will not repair under warranty. HELP any suggestions??????

I have searched this site for a long time for answers on the F250. The other night I went ahead and signed up. This is my third F250
Started with 2000 7.3 wish I still had it, then 2004 6.0 wish I had never brought it, now the 2008 6.0.
