Well Shaun just move up here to NH where you don't have to pay State tax.. That will take care of your problem..

Although it is still considered jury duty at work. The real downside is if you have to say you cant serve it at that time you have to tell the judge the friday before you are scheduled to appear. And you must tell the judge your reason in person.

Wow that is weird...
Here all we have to do is send in that we want to reschedule..
You are only alowed one change, but I have never used it..
Everytime I have been called it has been cancelled..

I have only been summoned for jury duty once in baltimore county. Had to call in after 4 pm the day before to see if your number was picked or not. some numbers had to call in the day of jury duty at noon to see if they had to report. I had to call in both days and did not have to report.

I was suppose to have jury duty March 30 and that is what I had to do..
It was cancelled..
