Help?

Hello all I have a 1988 Ford Ranger 2.3 liter with a problem. This truck doesn't want to start up it has spark compression but no fuel. Upon further inspection the injectors are not firiring when they are asked to by the computer. We have checked connections to the injectors and figured that they aren't grounding when need be. To clear the air the fuel pump and relay work fine but we are stumped about the injectors not firing. Any one else have this problem? Thanks for any help that you may give us we are starting to pull our hair out on this one.

The injectors have 12 volts B+ to them at KOER & the computer supplies the ground switching to fire the injectors, so maybe look to a wiring, electrical connector pin/socket, or poor computer ground connection, or internal computer component switching problem, with the computer itself.

Some thoughts for pondering, let us know what you find.

OK, good feedback & to hear you seem to have put the fix on your fuel injector problem.

Too bad it was the computer, the most expensive part!!!!
