pass window

how do i get my pass window motor out. i dont see any bolts. i see rivets but its attached to the arms. do i have to drill the rivets and pull everything?

Drill 'em out. It's the only reason I haven't bothered replacing my siezed up motor either.

Use the advanced search feature and you'll find a number of guides to replacing your motor.

If you look closely you'll find 3 divots in the door sheetmetal in front of the bolts that attach the motor to the window regulator. Drill out these divots to gain access to the bolts, prop up the window glass, and unbolt the motor.

Have band-aids ready, or have someone with small hands fish the motor out of the door. I damn near required stitches after the first one I did.

I've had to replace my driver side one twice, I don't know if it was done before I got it, but the motor is blolted in. I just removed the speaker to gain access to the motor to pull it out and put back in. Don't all the doors have the speaker hole even if they don't have the speakers?
