Factory Security Settings??

Factory Security Settings??
Does a 2001 come from the factory with a security system. The truck has power locks, but the previous owner did not give me the remote entry. I assume it has it. Anyway, is there anything in the keyless entry/ security that would disable the starting procedure for the truck, engine spin, but no fuel from the IDM?

No factory anti theft on the pickups. The excursions got it, but not the pickups.
