vacuum line

I just found my double vacuum line on my passenger side hub disconnected. I believe it had to be off for around a week or so. What kind, if any damage could this cause. I had been feeling a vibration in the front axle region for about 2 days thats why I looked under and found the line off. any help or advice would be appreciated. thanks

When the hose pops off it doesnt allow vacuum to build in the system. So being the hubs lock in when there isnt any vacuum, your hubs have been locked in turning you half shafts, front differential, and front driveshaft. All that rotating mass is where your vibration came from. No damage to anything should have taken place, in fact, what happened to your truck is probably has the least chance of hurting anything. So your fine if you plugged the vacuum line back in. And i take it the vibration when away?

I just found that my truck was running the same way your was, but my loss of vacuum in the system was because of my IWE actuator seals crapping out and loosing the vacuum, so i have been driving around for the past 6-7 months just like you have been the last couple days. And when i tore my front hubs apart to replace the actuators, there wasnt any damage whatsoever. So breathe a sigh of relief. Your fine. And lucky for your it was just a popped off line. i wish mine was that simple of a problem.
