Ok, my anger got the best of me and I pounded my fist down on to the window/door locks of my truck. Well uh oh...they all decided to get pushed down. They still work, but I have to press them ever so gently because they keep going down further. I'm guessing I'm going to have to take the door panel off to get to the area and see if I can push them back up.
My question is - how/where do I begin? I see no visable screws. There is a cloth area just about the handle and open door handle, but that seems like it would need to be pried off to even get to something.
Any help would be appreciated.
2002 Ford Explorer XLT - no leather.
Again windows and lock buttons currently work all doors and windows.
there are 2 screws above the door handle .remove them and a trim plate at the door handle .place a putty knife under the bottom of the door panel and pry it out ,working your way around .lift the panel up off the window channel .once off the door switches should slide in .check to see if you broke any thing .when you reinstall make sure you place all the plastic retainers on the panel .some times they rip off and stay in the door.
