Tow Package Info
I have a '93 F150 XLT, 5.8L, Super Cab, and it seems to have a tow package on it that looks very factory. Is there any way to tell if this is a posi rear end by looking, or is there some sort of coding somewhere on the vehicle?

It should be coded for type of axle and ratio. Most likely placarded in the driver's doorsill, but could be in VIN.

Tow package doesn't always mean limited slip either. Most trailer packages came with 3.55 gears. 19-3.55 and H9B-3.55 LS.
