I felt like Dorothy when she first opened her door upon arriving in OZ; colorful Hoods that they are.

I sure do like that bumper,it fits and suits the truck very naturally. I thought it would be a nice touch to my panel but then realized up here in Ontario we have to have a front license plateoh well, guess I'll just have to like it on his truck.

One more thing, the trucks are really nice but was wondering when we get to see the eye candy or I guess that's not allowed here is it, lol.

The owner of this truck is about as old school as anyone that I have come to know. 351 Cleveland motor, chrome steelies, and diamond tuck black leather interior...I love this truck! This is a truck that was built a decade ago and still looks like it just rolled out of the shop. He is not into the new-fangled gadgets like reverse tilt hoods...feels that if you keep the stock hinges maintained that they work just fine. Who am I to argue? Did you take a look at the reflection of the blue truck in the door and fender of the black truck? Dead straight body...

Can you imagine going out to buy yourself a new truck in 1956 and being faced with the decision between the Chevy and the Big Window Ford!

Yes you do have to trim the bumper to get it to fit correctly.

do they just shorten the sides(take material off the top and bottom lip) or is it a big enough amount that you have to section the bumper?

Bumper has to be set in place at the proper angle, then the top edges in the corners must be cut away to allow the bumper to move back towards the valence. Keep trimming until the gap between the bumper and the valence is to your liking. Once the fit is correct across the front then trim the wraparound sections to your own taste. No trimming is necessary on the bottom of the bumper nor is there a need to section it.
