I am currently running an Edge evolution. I am a lil curious about something, when i pull out a get on it pretty hard, the transmission shifts hard going from 1st to 2nd, and if i stay in the pedal it is another hard shift from 2nd to 3rd. Is this something i should be concerned about. Or should i just let out of it before it shifts. And not get into the throttle so hard.
Sounds normal, but how hard are we talking? Hard enough to feel it, or hard enough make bones rattle?
Not hard enough to rattle your bones but harder than stock. My main concern is having to stop in the middle of the road and pick up pieces of my transmission. That could possibly ruin my day!!!!! I have found that if i let out just before it shifts it wont be as hard. But was just curious to see if i should be concerned.

It's in the programming of the Evolution. Download the stock program and I guarantee your issue ends. Yes, it is normal while running your programming.
THe idea behind shifting harder is so the clutches dont spin as much, reducing the wear on your trans..Kind of hard to believe sometimes, that I i know
I dont know how much this will help, but after my DP, my trans shifts harder then ever, and my T/C remains engaged a heck of alot longer.. All of the reasons for this I know.. but it is still strange to me and I am slowly getting use to it..
