I put an add a leaf in my '99 250 7.3 a couple years ago. I was trying to level it and wasnt impressed with the results. Well I think the springs may have already been sagging then, but now I think they're back down to below where they were before the add a leaf. Anyway, I want to get this thing level once and for all. I can get a set of used x-code springs off of a f-450 for 150 bucks. Will these really level it out, or just almost? Any other options in aftermarket springs? Thought about just adding a shackle to it and get a little more, but I want to do it right and be done with it. Thanks in advance

Yes, the X-codes will get you there, if you have 2" blocks in the rear. The reason I say that is because I seem to recall (maybe incorrectly) that some early 99 F250s had 4" blocks in the rear like a SRW F350. If you do have 4" blocks in the rear then the X-codes will still be a great improvement but won't level it out.

Well I guess I could go ahead and stick in the x's and if they dont put it up where I want it then I could always put the add a leafs that I have in my current springs in the x codes, right?
